ＭＰ径とアンブシュアの発達について

先日、ＢａｃｈのＭＰについてのサイトを見ていた所、以下のような記述がありました。 A large mouthpiece will not permit a player to "jam" the high tones by using excessive lip pressure, training the lip muscles to do the work. The embouchure will soon adjust itself automatically to the correct position. Students starting with a large mouthpiece generally develop both a beautiful tone and an excellent high register. と、どうやら練習の段階においての正しいアンブシュアと唇の筋肉の発達のためには「大きめの径を推奨」の様子です。 さて、ここの最後の一文、 Students starting with a large mouthpiece generally develop both a beautiful tone and an excellent high register. これがまかり通るのはどこまでなのでしょうか？普通に考えると、小学生にシルキーの２４（18.29mm）を与えるのはさすがに大きすぎるように思えますが、本当に大きすぎるのでしょうか？ また、この言い分が真であるならば何故、新しく買ったＴＰには７ｃ程の大きさの物が、いわゆる「入門用」として付いてくるのでしょうか？ 素人のちょっとした疑問でした。 皆様のご意見をお聞きできればと思います。 --- MoMo#233 |
